Corruption is a malaise which is eroding the administrative system and undermining the impact of rapid development and economic growth in the State. The fight against corruption cannot be waged, let alone won, without the active meaningful support of the public at large. Transparency in the system and procedural simplification can go a long way in reducing the scope for corruption. Modern technology can also supplement the attempt to reduce the scope for corruption.

The Gujarat Vigilance Commission invites the cooperation of all right thinking people in their effort to eliminate this scourge. Any member of the public can lodge a complaint with the Gujarat Vigilance Commission of those relating to malpractices, misconduct or corruption in public services relating to officers/employees of Gujarat Government including Panchayats, Boards, Corporations and Government-Aided Organizations. The complaints may be sent directly to the Gujarat Vigilance Commission.
